CIVIS Open Labs launch the webinar series CIVIS Connect CIVIS Open Labs launch the webinar series CIVIS Connect ========================================================= General 4 Σεπτεμβρίου 2024 The CIVIS Open Labs are launching this September 17, 2024, **CIVIS Connect**, a series of 8 webinars to foster the exchange of knowledge and practices related to the university’s third mission. The focus of the webinar series will be on engaged missions and collaborative projects with external partners. The Open Labs aim to enhance networking opportunities for participants while increasing the visibility of their activities and promoting their project calls. Academics, stakeholders, members of the Open Labs, and students who are engaged in projects related to the societal and community-oriented roles of universities will gain inspiration, engage with experts and practitioners, and network. > *CIVIS CONNECT is our new online discussion series exploring the myriad of ways universities can engage with their civic surroundings. Topics will span areas such as service learning, challenge-led education, research engagement and the civic role of a university".* About CIVIS Connect ------------------- CIVIS Connect features eight monthly one-hour sessions in English focusing on key topics such as public engagement with research, challenge-led education, civic engagement, outreach, participatory research, and service-learning. Each seminar is structured to foster enriching dialogue between academics and field practitioners. The sessions include presentations by academic speakers, field stakeholders, and open discussions with the audience, allowing for direct and interactive exchanges among all participants. These seminars offer a unique opportunity to strengthen interdisciplinary and trans-disciplinary collaboration in service of communities. Join us to stimulate innovative and impactful academic and civic engagement across Europe and beyond.
